We need your assistance to help us rebuild what we lost and establish even more of the “Farm 2 Table” activities and facilities. LJH2T was created to enhance the quality of health by “Health through Education” – Teaching children, with or without disabilities, how to maintain wellness through a clean, chemical-free lifestyle. In the fire, we lost our two rabbits, Ginger and Nutmeg, their rabbit habitat, and one of our Chicken Coups, but we are grateful the five chickens were saved from the fire. We lost so much, but with your help, we will build even better and bigger again to help fulfill our mission. Our financial goal is $20,000 to reestablish all that was lost and create a safer, more accessible site to reduce any risk of any more fire and losses. Our hands-on activities, planting, and cooking depict the “Harvest 2 Table” concept. “Harvest 2 Table” is a farming project developing many opportunities for our children to learn from. Farm goers journey through experiences that introduce biology, demonstrate organization, help prepare for growth, create a sense of creativity, and benefit from emotional release while caretaking the animals and plants onsite.
