Hi, my name is Kira and I'm a wildlife carer with Darling Range Wildlife Shelter. I was recently called in to care for a lost pet galah, having previously taken in and adopted a galah from a similar situation.

This beautiful boy has seen many long years, and is a truly cherished soul. Whilst I've not yet found his owners, I continue to search each day.

Gary, whilst well-loved, is in desperate need of live-saving veterinary work by an experienced avian Veterinarian. Gary has evidence of long-term malnutrition, likely caused by a diet that is heavy in seed, and lacks diversity. This type of nutrition can lead to a host of issues, such as Fatty Liver Disease, gout, arthritis, feather damage, beak & nail issues, and more.

Gary deserves all the love and care in the world, and will need rigorous treatment, and supportive care until his owners can be located.
