Tre needs another surgery or he will not survive. We adopted Tre right after he lost his leg. Within 2 months Tre had fully recovered. However, eight months later he started bleeding from his Urethra. Tre, he has been through so much, he deserves to live, so we are reaching out for everyone's help.

The Full Story: One morning in August of 2020 while my friend was driving to work she spotted a dogs head sticking up in the high grass on the side of the highway, she suspected that something wasn't right so she stopped to check. The dog stood up and limped over to her, it appeared that the dog had been hit by a vehicle, his leg looked broken and it had an open wound. She picked him up and put him in the car and drove back to the house. Upon arriving she stormed into the house and asked me what to do (it was still only 7:00am). I was able to reach animal control via 911 and they came quickly to pick him up. The officer noted that his wound was not fresh, meaning this poor baby had been laying there injured for a day or two. I asked the officer to keep me informed of the dogs status. Marion County Animal Services called me later in the day and told me that his leg had multiple fractures and because his open would was so badly infected, they had to amputate his leg. Two days later we became the dogs foster family and brought him home. A month after that we adopted him and named him Tre (Tre is Italian for 3). We continued nursing him back to health, he had to learn how to walk, defecate, and urinate all over again. Some times when he was in pain I would need to pick him up and carry him. Months later Tre appeared to have fully recovered, he was even able to leap over a 4 foot fence! Tre quickly became a wonderful companion to us and to all the dogs and cats here, he loves people, we love him dearly, he is our loving miracle survivor! However, eight months later in April of 2021 Tre had a major setback, he started bleeding from his Urethra. We took Tre to the University of Florida Veterinary Hospital and to our local Veterinarian where he has had multiple X-rays, two Ultra Sounds, a Urinalysis, and a Urine Culture. The Doctors at UF Veterinary Hospital feel that Tre has a mass (tumor) possibly in his Sheath/Prepuce or a Urethral Prolapse. They recommended a Cystoscopy – Tre already has an appointment for this in late July. Other causes for the bleeding have been ruled out. After the Cystoscopy Tre will need Surgery to correct the condition. Without the Cystoscopy and Surgery Tre will not survive. We have to move quickly now because Tre's condition is getting worse. Tre deserves a long healthy life, he has been through so much and I’m not going to let him down. I'm reaching out to you asking you to please help. Tre's medical bills are mounting and it's going to get very costly, but we will save him! Please donate if you can, and please please share and post Tre's website and this YouTube Video on your social media, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, email, messenger, text, or however you can, sharing to as many people as possible will help make Tre's Crowdfunding Campaign a huge success and save his life! Again, please help and thank you so much!
