Will you help Rose fight the battle of her life?

 

My name is Tonya Davis and I'm fundraising for my amazing Mom, Rose Mayer, who is bravely battling Bile Duct Cancer (cholangiocarcinoma). Bile duct cancer is extremely rare and difficult to treat (< 10,000 people/yr in the US ). Therefore, finding an expert and getting 2nd & 3rd opinions is needed to get the best best care possible and understand all her options and chances for survival. As you know, Rose is tough and she's putting all her energy into getting the surgeries needed to put this nightmare behind her and become a SURVIVOR. She is currently living between Central Oregon and Portland where she temporarily relocated to have access to better treatment options. She has started her chemo journey in Portland and is preparing for treatments and surgeries both locally and across the country at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. We are looking to provide Rose with that financial support to help her leave no stone unturned regarding treatment options and care to help her beat this horrible disease.

 

The expenses Rose needs support on:

Cost of living (paying double utilities, condo HOA, hotel stays in Texas)

Transportation (gas to do the 400 miles between home and Portland)

Flights to Houston, Texas

Treatment co-pays (medication, chemo, multiple surgeries and hospitalization)
