Life-Saving Surgery for Rosario
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rosario James and I was admitted into the hospital on 4/2/22. I was experiencing mild chest pains causing me to receive unexpected news. The unimaginable diagnosis (more so a diagnosis I didn’t want to receive) was provided after massive exams and X-rays. I was informed I had 90% or more blockage(clogs) in the major three areas of my heart. My arteries were so clogged they would need over a half-dozen of stents to redirect those blockages. This left me with a choice to either die from a heart attack or have Coronary Bypass Surgery.
After receiving that news, I knew my life would change forever. I never imagined a doctor opening my chest up and breaking my sternum to keep me alive - would be a choice I had to make to continue living. However, I decided, if I wanted to live there was no other choice.
My Bypass Surgery was finally scheduled for Friday 4/8/22. The pain associated with this surgery is extremely excruciating but surgery was very successful. So far, the doctors are stating everything after surgery is going well.
This surgery will affect my life tremendously for the next 6 - 12 weeks. I’ll need extensive therapy sessions, in-home care and adjustments to my house to accommodate my new mobility restrictions. I’m unable to drive, work, or help out around the house like I normally would for the next 2 - 3 months. I’m a very hard worker and I’m unable to pay bills if I’m not able to work.
To help relieve some of the stress and focus more on my healing process, I created this fundraiser. No amount is to small or not enough. I appreciate and thank each and everyone of you!
