Hi, my name is Ryan Brown, and I’m reaching out for help to cover the cost of an emergency, life-saving surgery for my beloved cat, Poetry.

I recently graduated from college and, like many in my position, I don’t have the financial cushion to absorb unexpected medical expenses like this.

To make matters worse, this happened right in the middle of switching Poetry’s pet insurance—he was left uncovered for just a few weeks, and of course, that’s exactly when this emergency struck.

Poetry accidentally swallowed a string, which caused a severe intestinal blockage. It was life-threatening, and he needed immediate surgery to survive.

The total cost came to $4,500, an amount I simply wasn’t prepared for. But I couldn’t give up on him. He means the world to me, and I had to give him a fighting chance.
