We are raising money to get basic protective equipment to NYC healthcare workers who are on the frontlines fighting COVID-19.
Hospitals all over New York City are in dire need of basic protective equipment. Nurses, doctors, and other healthcare workers don't have the proper equipment to keep themselves safe, and unfortunately are getting sick at a much higher rate given their exposure. They don't have the option to stay at home, but rather are risking their lives every day to fight this virus head on. We will lose the fight without them. They need your help.
*Update: 4/4*: We have successfully delivered over 3,000 masks, face-shields, and N95s to 8 different hospital systems in New York City. We are focusing mostly on the public hospital systems who are experiencing extreme shortages. With all of the extremely generous donations we have been able to order over 10,000 more desperately needed pieces of PPE!!
We have both the supply side and demand side largely in place, so now we just need to continue raising donations.
