Life-saving help for Luis
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
On September 14, 2022, Luis Rico suffered a near-fatal brain aneurysm. Luckily he received prompt emergency care and survived an arduous five-hour surgery, followed by a week long medically induced coma. Now Luis faces a long road to recovery where he will fight to regain his mobility. We are asking for donations to fund a temporary stay at a leading therapeutic facility. There, he will receive support to re-learn self-care tasks that will impact his quality of life. This therapy will mean the difference between life in a wheelchair or the ability to walk; round-the-clock care or living independently.
Please help. Thank you for your consideration.
About Luis Rico - Luis’ world revolves around his family. He and his wife adore their children (11-year-old daughter and 19-year-old son). Luis is the eldest of seven children.
He is an avid fisherman and enjoys weekend fishing trips with his son and brother. One of Luis’ crowning achievements was when he became an American citizen in 2018, after a 14 year long process.
