Life-saving Heart Surgery for Tequila
TEQUILA NEEDS YOUR HELP
Tequila is a tiny shelter dog that was born with a heart defect called a Patent Ductus Arteriosus or PDA. Dogs with this abnormality go into heart failure at a very young age - often before their first birthday. Fortunately there is a surgical procedure that can correct this and save Tequila's life. And it doesn't just buy her time. A successful surgery means Tequila has the same chance at a normal life as dogs born without this defect.
The only things preventing Tequila from a long, healthy life are time and money. Tequila needs the surgery now - before she goes into heart failure. She's already two years old, so there's no time to waste.
The surgery and diagnostic imaging will cost roughly $4,000.00. Tequila doesn't have an owner to pay for it, and her shelter doesn't have the resources to be able to devote that much money to one dog - even one as cute as Tequila. She needs our help.
If Tequila gets the surgery, she becomes an adoptable dog with a long and happy future ahead of her. Without the surgery she will die. It's that simple. Please help us raise the money to save her.
