Life's EPIC Adventures
Hi everyone,
My name is Brian, and I’m excited to invite you to join me in a new ministry called "Life's EPIC Adventures." Many of us live our lives focused on working just to live, rather than living to experience the fullness of life. Imagine starting each day with the declaration, "Today is going to be an Epic Adventure!"
I’ve been following God’s direction in my life since 2016. In the autumn of 2017, I felt God calling me to walk the Camino De Santiago when I turned 50. That milestone birthday is coming up on August 24th, and I’ll be embarking on a 500-mile journey along the Camino Francis route. Initially, I wasn’t sure if this was truly God’s plan for me until June of this year, when I received a clear three-step plan from Him:
1. **30-Day Challenge (0-10 miles)**
2. **Planning and Preparation**
3. **Complete the Pilgrimage**
I’ve completed Step 1, and you can see my progress on my Facebook page [Brian Hassall](https://www.facebook.com/WildCamperBear?mibextid=ZbWKwL). Now, I’m reaching out for support as I prepare for Step 3. I’ve managed to acquire some of the necessary clothing and equipment and am fundraising to help cover the costs of the journey.
In addition to my personal journey, I’m raising funds for a Christian men's ministry I’m involved with called 100 Men of Valour. More information is available on our [Facebook group](https://www.facebook.com/share/g/iLyV9wgTBocwNK49/).
I'm also wanting to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Jonathan Stretton-Downes, who bravely battled heart illness. You can watch a tribute to Jonathan [here](https://youtu.be/07N5w3boJBg?si=wrL9VRCTeYF6WX0I).
The total cost of this adventure is around £2,500, which will cover:
- Basic living costs over the targeted 50 days
- Camping and walking equipment
- Transportation
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. If you’d like to know more or support my journey, feel free to contact me on my Facebook page. I trust that God is guiding me along this path, and I’m excited to see where this adventure leads.
Blessings,
Brian
