Lifepointe has always been about one thing — people.
From the very beginning, our heart has been to create a place where every person can encounter God’s love, find community, and be equipped to make a difference in the world.
For many years, our church on Wises Road was a home for thousands of stories — moments of faith, worship, baptisms, laughter, and life change. But in January 2023, everything changed overnight.
A small electrical fault — an exit sign at the back of the stage — sparked a fire that quickly spread through our building. Within hours, the place that had carried so many memories was gone.
What followed were months of uncertainty. Our insurance company went into liquidation, putting everything on hold and leaving us unsure of what the future would look like. We prayed, we waited, and we trusted. And even in the hardest moments, we saw the faithfulness of God. Against the odds, we received a partial insurance payout — enough to begin dreaming again.
Now, we are in the rebuilding season — literally.
Our new Lifepointe Church is being built in two stages. Stage One will bring us back home to Wises Road, creating spaces for worship, community, and connection once again. Stage Two will see the full vision come to life — a vibrant, faith-filled hub for our church and the wider Sunshine Coast community.
Our dream is bigger than just rebuilding walls.
We believe God is calling us to build a place that will carry His presence, serve our city, and reach generations to come — a place where faith, family, and community come together.
And this is where you come in.
We can’t do this alone.
Every prayer, every act of generosity, every donation helps turn this vision into reality. Together, we can build something that will stand as a beacon of hope on the Sunshine Coast for decades to come.
If you’d like to help us or contribute to the Lifepointe Building Fund your generosity would be gratefully received.
Because this story isn’t just ours — it’s all of ours.
Together, we’re building Lifepointe. Together, we’re building hope.
