Lifeline for The Music Factory

Donation protected

The Music Factory of Battle Creek, Mi.

A home for Metal-heads, Rockstars, karaoke lovers, Country Singers, Drag Queens, Pop-Stars, Bikers, Beer Connoisseurs, Liquor sippers, Great Food, And Most important of all... LIVE MUSIC!!!

An escape for some and a second home to many others. A place of not only fun, but opportunity....

My names DeQuan Perry and i want to take the time to reach out to as many that will see this. Its no secret that COVID-19 has done a number on a ton of surrounding local family-owned establishments. Its never a beautiful sight watching the hard work of a loved one go to waste without a fighting chance.

Thats why I'm reaching out to those who surround me, to ask you to help spread the word and this post to help raise funds towards paying off the ever growing bills that are slowly overwhelming The Factory. Even if you don't donate; sharing this and spreading the word can help that much more.

If you LOVE LIVE MUSIC, you should share this. If you love LOVE METAL MUSIC, You should share this!! If you love DRAG SHOWS, you should be sharing this. If you MISS BEING ABLE TO take a break with a few of your friends, you should be donating to this. Simply put, if you live in Battle Creek, Mi and you don't want to perish of boredom, then you should consider making a donation to this cause.

I think its apparent of how much this place actually means to me; and not just the establishment itself but the owners as well; Jeff & Buffy Harris. At the end of this fundraiser all proceeds no matter how much raised will be turned over to them in an effort to help ease their stress. Jeff & Buffy have done a great deal for this community in more ways then the average person may realize.

Sometimes it feels nice to be able to give back & help the people you've come to know and love.

Thank you for the time spent reading my story. And to those who decide to donate, Thank you more!

My profile will be lit in all red for the next 24 hours. I stand in solidarity with the rest of my brothers and sisters in the event/music entertainment industry who are out of work due to no fault of our own. Most of us have spent our lives getting to the point to where we can make a living doing what we love to do. The ole "just get a job" doesn't really work here. We have spent years building our businesses & brands from the ground up. Time, money, more time, more money, and constant grinding has brought us here. If we fail it should be because WE caused the failure and not because we are forced to be shut down without any sort of assistance. This is our passion. This is our dream. The American Dream is to do what you love for a living. We have accomplished that, and will continue to make smiles for those that need a smile the most... all of us!.
