In the spirit of back to school season, LifeKit is teaming up with non-profit organization, Worthy of Love to donate 100 "SchoolKits" sponsored by LifeKit to the children of Union Rescue Mission in Skid Row. 

Union Rescue Mission has been serving the homeless community in Downtown Los Angeles since 1891 and is the only shelter in Skid Row that accepts children into their program. 

Worthy of Love has been collaboring with URM for the past 3 years and hosts birthday party events once a month for the children at Union Rescue Mission. To bring hope, remind them of their value and potential and to just let loose and have a great time. 

100% of received donations will be used to purchase basic school supplies included in the SchoolKit such as pencils, erasers, markers, sprial notebooks and backpacks and will be presented to the children at the next Worthy of Love event scheduled for August 25, 2016. We are excited and honored to be apart of this chartible event and to contribute to the future of some of the less fortunte children who have the rest of their lives ahead of them.
