New Ultrasound Machine

"I'm pregnant... I feel alone. What am I going to do? I don't think I can do this. There is no way. I don't even know where to go from here. I just...need help."
I volunteer at the Appalachian Area Crisis Pregnancy Center (Woman's Enrichment Center) and we welcome women who are overwhelmed with the unexpected news of being pregnant. Our center offers supplies and support in many forms to help these mothers, but the most important service we offer is the Life Images Program. This free service gives pregnant women a chance to see their baby for the first time. It's hard to believe that there is a life growing inside of you. The ultrasound gives women a chance to see what they would be giving up if they decided to have an abortion. Seeing the baby gives women a peace and confidence to become a mother.
The center needs a new machine! Our current one won't last much longer. We need your help! But most of all the pregnant women and their babies need your help. A new mobile ultrasound machine costs $28,000. Our volunteer technician travels all over North Georgia to reach women in need.
I have seen this service change the lives of so many women and children and it would sadden my soul to see the Life Image Program collapse because we aren't able to raise the support needed for a new machine. Will you help women make a decision they can live with?
All funds will be given directly to the Woman's Enrichment Center and will be used to purchase a new ultrasound machine for the Life Images Program that serves several counties in the North Georgia area. We currently serve in the following counties in Georgia:
Union, Lumpkin, Gilmer, Hall, Hart, Pickens, Jackson, Stephens, Barrow, Habersham, Heard, and Chattooga. There are also many clients that come from surrounding counties to use our Life Images Program.
