My name is Dana, I'm a 33 year old trans person seeking help with the significant costs of facial feminisation surgery.

I've been medically transitioning for nearly 8 years now, and in that time I've been happier and more able to live a meaningful and emotionally honest life.

While this has meant I've been more well-adjusted, because I am now visibly trans I experience significant amounts of hostility and prejudice. On the street and in public spaces people stare, glare and make comments, and are sometimes violent or threatening. I encounter social barriers and, while I've found I can connect with people when given the chance, I'm often not.

I'd like to find a way to live authentically without paying the cost of being a pariah simply for how I look. I believe FFS maybe the way to achieve this.

Your support would mean I'd be free from sticking out in public spaces, able to live more fully - from going to the gym, shopping, progressing in work, going to the beach... Essentially all public life would become less hostile for me.
