Becky Knoll was an avid adventurer who loved to read, travel, and experience new things.  For many, reading can be a powerful way to escape into wonderful experiences that might otherwise be impossible.  In loving memory of a wonderful mother and friend to many, this memorial fund is established on behalf of Becky Knoll to benefit the El Dorado Bradford Memorial Libray

Janet Rebecca “Becky” Knoll
Age 60
Rosalia, KS

Becky’s life began on August 5, 1955, born to Otho Harry and Janet Irene (Buchanan) Lane in Albemarle, Virginia. She graduated from Avondale High School and attended some college. She married John K. Knoll on June 4, 1978, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She worked as a postal service clerk at the Corporate Hills Station and El Dorado Post Offices.

Becky was a loving, supportive, and encouraging mother who instilled in her children the important knowledge that you must work for what you want in life.  She was a true adventurer in her later years traveling to many locations, hiking the Grand Canyon from rim to rim, hitting the slot machines in Vegas, and exploring remote parts of Mexico.  She was fearless in the most admirable way, passionate about reading, current affairs, and spending precious moments with her kids and grandkids.  She was creative and crafty in ways that amazed and crocheted many things her family will hold dear for years to come.  Becky also enjoyed shopping trips with friends and assembled the best Christmas stockings.  She will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her father, Otho Lane.

Her survivors include her husband, John Knoll of the home; children, Kendra (Fernando) Garcia of Yelapa, Mexico, Kenneth (Andrea) Knoll of Oklahoma City, Kimberly (Philip) Moore of El Dorado.; mother, Janet Lane of Covington, Georgia; grandchildren, Kayden Garcia Knoll, Landry Lane Moore, step-grandchildren, Libby and Emily Moore; brothers, Rodney Lane of Newborn, Georgia, Russell (Lynn) Lane of Duluth, Georgia, Robert (Emma) Lane of Social Circle, Georgia.

Becky passed away without pain on Thursday, November 19, 2015. Her memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 25, at 10:30 a.m. at Carlson Colonial Chapel in El Dorado.

Memorial contributions to the El Dorado Bradford Memorial Library  in Becky’s name may be sent to or dropped off at the Carlson Funeral Home or made online here . Please sign her online guestbook and leave a memory of Becky at Carlson Colonial.
