Life for Liz

Friends, Family, Co-Workers, Humans of the World,
My best friend of 21 years, Liz (Elizabeth) Anderson was just diagnosed with Cancer. Last week we found out it’s not a little bit of cancer but Stage IV, life-ending gallbladder cancer. The doctors have said with chemo she has about a year and half left in this world. This GoFundMe page has been set up to help us give her the best year and a half she could ever imagine.
She will be on chemo for the rest of her life whether she outlasts the year and a half estimate or not. They can’t remove the cancer because it is “everywhere,” to quote the doctor and oncologist. So the chemo is an attempt to try and hold back the cancer, maybe shrink it and ultimately buy her a little more time. The doctor doesn’t believe she can be “cancer free” in this life.
That’s why we need your help. She has a year to see all the things she’s ever wanted to see and to experience everything she possibly can. She has a year to be with the ones she loves and have her last adventures.
Our "Goal" for this campaign is big, because our goals are big, the future of her health and medical expenses are unknown and we don't want finances to be part of her worries. Help us send her everywhere she wants to be, pay for those medical bills that are bound to pile up, and give her the opportunity to live like each day could be her last.
When you donate to this page you will receive updates about Liz’s health status, her adventures and any gatherings we put together.
She needs your love and your support but she may not be in a place where she can respond or properly thank you for your care and concern. If you have any questions feel free to post them here and either myself or one of the other lovely members of our tribe will do our best to answer.
If you would like to read more details about the last two months and how we got to this place please go here:

This has been incredibly surreal for all of us and we greatly appreciate your help, your kind words, your generous spirits, and the outpouring of love.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for your kindness.
