This amazing little gal has amazed us by how much she has accomplished.
However, she is now 7 years old and unable to walk. We are still undergoing genetic testing to find out the cause, but her doctors think she fits the Retts or Angelmans syndrome umbrella which leaves her unable to walk.
Carrying this girlie just isn't doable any longer due to my own ongoing back problems. We are in desperate need of a lift to get her in and out of the house functionally. We are also trying to save for a wheelchair accessible van. Our entire family is so grateful for the amazing support we have received from friends and family, but we have once again hit a bump in the road due to some tough times financially. With the decline in oilfield work the past few years have left us unable to provide Tegan with any equipment she needs. We just want our Miss Tegan to be able to be involved in anything other kids do and lately that has been difficult.
