Muhammad Wazir hailing from Gojalti Yasin, Gilgit-Baltistan was struck by a bus in an accident last week at Taus, Yasin. After having been admitted to City Hospital Gilgit for a week, he has been referred to PIMS Hospital, Islamabad due to the seriousness of his condition. His current diagnosis is a rare condition called Aplastic Anemia which means that his body has stopped producing enough blood cells, potentially connected to his severe injuries in the spinal cord.
Wazir is the father of three children and the sole breadwinner of the family. He was a daily wager who worked hard to take care of his family. Now, he not only can’t take care of his family, but he also needs money for his treatment in Islamabad. He has no savings and has already taken a loan of Rs 100,000 to bear the expenses of his treatment.
I am requesting everyone to please contribute whatever they can to help Wazir. He needs your help.
You can see the referral form from the hospital. I am in contact with his son and relatives. I will add more updates soon
