Life Saving Treatment for David

Donation protected
David was diagnosed last October with a type of cancer called osteosarcoma on his leg that grows from the bone.  Initial treatment was carried out in an effort to shrink the tumour enough to do surgery but unfortunately this was unsuccessful with the end result being amputation.  David himself best describes what has happened since in his previous page which you can read below.  As a result of this David has decided to leave his country to seek the  treatment that he so desperately needs and deserves.  In his absence, we his friends and family will be fundraising for as long as it takes to see that no stone is unturned.  There will be a number of fundraising events being carried out over the next couple of months.  Full details to follow. As Davids financial needs have changed dramatically in the last week, his previous page will be deleted so in the meantime, please like and share this with everyone you know and help us to get David home and healthy x

"We can do it next year"

It's hard to type this but I have no choice.
Some people may know my story some may not.
I was diagnosed with cancer in my right leg in October 2017. Huge doses of chemotherapy did show shrinkage in the tumour but I ended up having amputation. The effects of chemo are horrible...anybody I have talked to say the same. It's broke me down but I started to build back up again.

Roll into last Monday. Scan results day. I was pretty sure it was going to be all clear...seeing as they did cut my leg off after all.
Unfortunately it wasn't..large tumour in my right lung..that I was told may just be dust in January and not to worry about it.

After waiting 5 months for a scan I was told on Monday they cannot treat this tumour, giving me a year to live and to go home and call when I need pain management.

I refuse this. I'm not going to sit down and just do nothing about this. I'm 27..what 27 year old would just do nothing and wait to die?

There are far superior treatments and clinics in countries other than this one. This is my only choice..I have to move away from my family now to try cure this illness I have. I can't use the word terminal cause it doesn't exist..I fully believe I can cure my cancer out of this countries healthcare system.

I would appreciate any share of this post or any donation to help on my way. This is happening to loads of people all over the country..it shouldn't be normal to just accept your death at 27..and I don' because I can cure this.

Peace and love ✌
