Life Saving Treatment for Allanah

Hello Everyone!

 

I am Mae and my best friend Allanah was officially diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on February 5, 2022. AML is a type of cancer of the blood and the bone marrow. The goal amount will cover most of her medical needs like chemotherapy, testing, 1 month of confinement, blood transfusions, medicines, and bone marrow transplant test (to see if she will qualify to get one).

 

Right now we are awaiting the results of her blood culture, and are currently gathering funds for her continued stay at the hospital, and for her to start her rounds of chemotherapy sessions. They will keep Allanah in the hospital for about a month to monitor her progress and almost every 3 days she would need to have blood transfusions to stabilize her.

 

Allanah is a wonderful, sweetest, generous, and talented person you could meet. We are gathering all the help we could get for her so she can wake up knowing she is safe and that she is loved by so many people.

It would mean everything to us and her if we can get her the life saving treatments she needs.

The previous GoFundMe goal of $3,500 was initially to cover the cost of her stay at the hospital when they were trying to figure out what Allanah's health issue was, as doctors were unsure. The funds went to the initial tests for covid, dengue, etc etc, ultrasound, several blood transfusions were needed to get Allanah stable, she needed 2DEcho to see if her heart was okay, and she needed the bone marrow biopsy. I will link the previous GoFundMe page. I am unable to do further edits on that one so I have decided to make a new one.
