My heart is breaking as I write this. My indoor cat disappeared for two days and came home on thanksgiving night with severe facial trauma, barely able to open her mouth or eat. After rushing her to the ER, the vets confirmed she has multiple fractures in her jaw, likely a dislocation, and signs of significant blunt-force trauma. She is in pain, struggling, and urgently needs specialty reconstructive surgery to survive and heal.

According to the vet, after a closer look- her injuries don’t match an animal attack. They look like they came from a person hurting her. I can’t imagine someone doing something so cruel to such a sweet, gentle cat.

Her surgery and treatment are more than I can afford, but I’m doing everything I can for her. On top of the $700 I’ve already paid for emergency visits, scans, medications, and everything I can do to keep her comfortable in the meantime. I’m trying my best, but this is more than I can manage alone.

I love her more than anything. She’s my comfort, my little shadow, and she doesn’t deserve to be suffering like this. I just want to give her a chance to recover and return to the loving, happy cat she was before someone hurt her.
