Life saving surgery for our favorite Doodle

Our favorite doodle, Marley, has been through the medical ringer this year. In 6 months, she has had 2 spats of aspirational pneumonia, a case of pancreatitis, spent several nights in a hyperbaric chamber, experienced a seizure…. and now has a mass on spleen leaving her at a serious risk for her spleen to rupture if left untreated. Her parents, Monica & Jason, have taken the best proactive and preventive medical care approach. Even with pet insurance applied, it has cost them over $13,000 out of pocket in treatment since July. Marley now needs a life saving surgery to remove her spleen, an estimated medical bill between $6,000-$9,000. Marley has already used up all her insurance benefits for the annual period, leaving her parents with another very hefty out of pocket expense in such a short period. In a time where the focus on Marley’s health & healing is priority, we are trying to support our dear friends & alleviate any other stress they are enduring, particularly the stress of financial impact.
