Life Saving Surgery for Kaos
Donation protected

A few weeks ago, we decided to adopt a senior dog from the shelter. He was labeled as a major medical and a senior case, so his likelihood of getting adopted was less than if he was younger and in perfect health. He as also skinny, and very dirty. We gave him wholesole quality food, a squishy bed, doggie friends, and brought him in with open arms and love. We immediately fell hard for this guy, and he became part of the family.
The day after Christmas, Kaos started to act lethargic and threw up a few times. Yesterday morning, he wouldn't go out to go potty, eat, or drink anything. He was not responsive to commands, and that little spark in his eye was gone. A few hours went by and his condition kept getting worse.
I took him in to the vet, and he stayed overnight. They got him on fluids, did bloodwork, and put him on antibiotics. He stayed overnight for observation. His condition seemed to improve, and he ate food, and was the happy go lucky guy we know. We thought we were in the clear, but didn't have any answers. Then, the next morning, his condition was bad again. The vet did X-rays, and we found a giant mass on his spleen.
The vet believes in his cancerous, and it needs to be removed. His condition is rapidly deteriorating, and he needs emergency surgery.
We are heartbroken that this guy is struggling to survive. The vet is optimistic about the surgery, and thinks that he could have a good quality of life after the removal of the spleen, so we are going through with the surgery.
So far, after the blood work, fluids, antibiotics, x-rays, and surgery, we are looking at a bill of at least $1,000 for Kaos. We need help now to save his life!

This bill will cripple us unless we are able to get some help. Our pets are our family, so we will do whatever we need to do to give him the quality of life he deserves.
We are fighting for him emotionally and sending him positive thoughts and helping him pull through with our love. But love doesn't pay the bills. We need help desperately. Please donate anything you can to help with the costs of his vet bills.
He is currently in surgery at Alpine Animal Hospital. You can call the clinic at (385) [phone redacted] to donate directly to our account (Heather Hamilton is the owner) or you can donate through gofundme.
Thank you all and bless you for your charity!
