Hello. My name is Melissa. I am the surviving sister of my brother, Anthony O’Connor and loving friend of my brother’s significant other Kimberly Hartz.
They were victims of a horrific car accident on 5/13/2020 at approx. 9:30pm. The man who caused my family this tremendous heartbreak was driving drunk and bloodwork has proven he was under the influence of PCP at the time of the accident.
My brother, Anthony O’Connor, 30 was pronounced dead at the scene. His surviving significant other was 5 months pregnant having their first baby together. She is currently in Temple Hospital’s Trauma Unit in critical condition. At this time she has suffered not only the loss of my brother but their baby, my nephew. She has lost her right leg, her jaw is broken, and she is also suffering from many internal critical injuries.
The financial distress that has been put on this young lady is beyond imaginable. Medical costs alone are so very significant along with the financial burden of her aftercare.
