My name is Suzan and I am asking for help on behalf of my dear friend Jeanie Adkins. She is experiencing a very serious medical situation from face reconstruction that she received years ago after she was the target of a murder attempt. She had numerous surgeries and therapy, however her injuries have continued to cause her physical problems through out her life. Today she has reached a critical stage in her deteriorating teeth and facial structure.
I am not a doctor or dentist but I do know the struggle she has faced over the past few years as the initial repair to her face and teeth has begun to collapse, resulting in the hardware that hold in her teeth poisoning her body. It took her several years to find the dentist who could actually do the extensive work that is now necessary to save her life.
Her dentist gave her a short time to live if she does not receive the urgent and necessary dental work and face reconstruction that is necessary. The first stage of the work is the most urgent because it will remove the teeth (metals) that are causing her body to be poisoned. That procedure will cost $5,000.
You may be asking why she can't simply get her teeth pulled like most people could. She can't do that because in her unique case the bones in her face will literally collapse pinching nerves in her neck and spine that could paralyze or kill her.
The entire repair will cost over $22,000. That is only the dental bill. She also regularly needs to be receiving treatments from the Paul St. John/Clark Pain Treatment Center at $130 a treatment, ideally once a week. Also regular treatments from Mark Frank Chiropractic, at $100 each visit. She will need to relocate to the Clearwater area during the process. Before starting the dental plan she must receive treatments to remove the metals from her system and vitamin IV's to boost her immune system.
