On Father's Day of 2021 we found out that the rock of our Family or Buddy as known by his grandkids was diagnosed with stage 4 Prostate Cancer that had metastasized to his entire spine, from his Skull to his tail bone, with a huge tumor on the back of his Neck. He was air lifted to UCSF for emergency neruospinal surgery. There a team of Neruo Surgeon's and Oncologists went to work to save his life. They successfully removed the tumor but not without side-effects. He can no longer walk, pull himself up, or do simple daily tasks that most of us take advantage of. He was put on life saving medication that he will have to take for the rest of his life and as an entire family we are struggling to pay for. We are also trying to pay for home health care so that we can bring him home. He is currently in a nursing home while receiving his Radiation and because of Covid He can't have any visits.
