Cory Herrera is one of the most hard working, loving, patient, and kind people that I know. He is an amazing father to his two children and loves them with all his heart. If you know Cory, you know that he is willing to do anything and everything to help the people he loves. Even if he does not know you he will do whatever it takes to help you and make your life better! His one goal in life is to make his life and the lives of all those around him better. In his words he wants to "save everyone". Now he needs help from loving and kind people to help save his life.

 
Cory was a passenger in a vehicle carpooling home from work. His vehicle was T-boned by an oncoming lifted truck. The emergency response team had to use the jaws of life to remove Cory and the driver out of the car. He lost consciousness at the scene of the accident and was transported to the local hospital where he was air lifted to Tucson, AZ. It was found that Cory had several brain bleeds and a severe traumatic brain injury. Cory sustained multiple fractures throughout his skull with the majority located in his face. CT scans revealed a major brain bleed in his right carotid artery that needed emergency surgery to save his life. The doctors say he will need more surgeries in the future as well as a lot of therapy after his coma. 

 
I am asking for the thoughts and prayers for the healing of Cory Herrera. I would like to ask for help supporting Cory with his new financial burdens that he has accrued due to this horrible accident that he was a passenger in. Unfortunately the person at fault for the accident did not have good car insurance. There is little to no settlement to help Cory with his medical expenses. All of the funds will go towards the multiple hospital stays, surgeries, specialists, and his home financials while he is out of work.
