My name is Ivy Jeche, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my dear friend, Tinashe Nyasha Dzapasi. Tinashe is a 37-year-old father from Harare, Zimbabwe, who is currently fighting for his life.
In November 2025, Tinashe’s life changed forever when he was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Since then, his health has deteriorated rapidly, leaving him unable to work and provide for his young child and family, who depend entirely on him.
Currently, Tinashe is undergoing dialysis three times a week. This treatment alone costs $450 per week—a staggering amount that his family is struggling to maintain. Without this dialysis, he cannot survive; yet, it is only a temporary bridge to the real solution.
A Transplant in India
Doctors have informed us that a kidney transplant is his only chance at a full recovery. Because this specialized surgery cannot be performed in Zimbabwe, Tinashe must travel to India for the procedure.
