Life saving kidney surgery for Mustapha Bull

A fundraising for our respected colleague Mustapha Bull, dedicated Technical Assistance manager at Tradin Sierra Leone. Mustapha is facing an urgent and life-saving challenge, and we have the power to make a significant impact on his journey to recovery.

Mustapha is battling end-of-kidney disease, and the crucial time has come for a life-changing surgery. The silver lining in this situation is that his brother has stepped forward as a living donor, embodying the spirit of family and compassion. This selfless act has given Mustapha a fighting chance, but it comes with a financial burden.

The transplant cannot take place in Sierra Leone. The hospital, Choitram in Freetown, partners with Max Health Centre in New Delhi, where this vital operation will take place. The costs include the surgery, the travel of Mustapa, the donor and the caretaker and the lodging. On his return Choitram will perform the necessary after care again. The total cost amounts to EUR 35,000.
