Life saving dialysis for Steve Carroll

Donation protected
On Wednesday the 6th my husband Steve had gone to the hospital originally for a nose bleed that was excessive and nonstop for hours.
Doctors decided to run a blood panel to see what the cause of the nose bleed was and after receiving results, immediately admitted him as he was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure due to high blood pressure. In total he's had 3 blood transfusions, 2 rounds of dialysis and has been in the hospital for 3 days now and counting. Needless to say we are overwhelmingly shocked, devastated and not prepared for such a turn of events. The doctor told Steve that he's genuinely surprised he's speaking coherently and not in a coma due to the severity of his kidney damage. With that being said, because Steve is self employed he doesn't have the health coverage for the expenses we're about to endure. We're currently waiting on qualification for any disability or state help in this situation and trying to navigate what life is going to look like moving forward. We are so grateful to everyone who has reached out and checked in on him and thankful for all the prayers. With our strong faith and belief in God, although the road may be long ahead, he'll make it out of this.

With love,
The Carroll’s
