In loving memory of Bryden Whynot; bench

Hello to anyone reading. I’m taking a leap of faith by posting this, despite knowing that financial struggles are a common challenge many of us face. I’ve recently experienced a profound loss, having said goodbye to my partner, best friend, and confidant. The world seems emptier without him, and I’m still finding my footing. He was an extraordinary individual, full of confidence and a natural ability to connect with others. Tragically, he passed away yesterday in the Lahave river, despite rescue efforts. His body was recovered, but I’m struggling to come to terms with the loss, knowing he was lifeguard certified and an avid swimmer. As I navigate my grief, I want to honor his memory by raising funds for a commemorative sign warning of strong currents, and a life-saving ring buoy in his name.

He can still do good things, even after his passing. I hope that he can save lives. This way, we can work together to prevent such tragedies in the future, in his name. I would love it to be a place to be able to pay our respects. It has natural beauty. A calmness.

He will not be forgotten.
