Hi, my name is Lily, and I’m my dad’s youngest child.
Over the past 18 months, our world has been turned completely upside down. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer — a devastating and life-altering moment for our entire family. Since then, he has undergone two major brain surgeries (craniotomies), multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and intensive radiation. Through it all, he’s shown strength, courage, and love that has kept our family going.
My dad is the heart and soul of our family. He’s a devoted father to six children, a proud grandfather to five grandkids, and the beloved owner of five mischievous miniature dachshunds. He’s the one who always made sure everyone else was okay — now it’s our turn to try and do the same for him.
Before his diagnosis, Dad worked night shifts for decades — his whole life — to provide for all of us. He never complained. He just did what needed to be done to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. He gave everything he had to give, and now, he needs help.
We’re now facing another crucial surgery — one that could give him more time with his family and a better quality of life. The surgery alone could be anything from 65k-85k, not including cost of medications, flights, and post operation care. But on top of everything, we’re currently in the middle of moving house, which has placed a huge strain on our finances. With medical expenses piling up and the cost of living becoming harder to manage, we’re asking for help — something we never thought we’d have to do.
Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards covering Dad’s upcoming operation, recovery, and ongoing care. More than anything, it gives us hope — hope that we can have more time with the man who means so much to all of us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for supporting our family through this incredibly tough time.
