On February 1, 2016 the world lost and heaven gained an amazing man of God, a father, a husband and a papa!

Rev. Jeffery Milner was so passionate about jail ministry. In 2011, he became a volunteer with Forgotten Man Ministries (now Reach the Forgotten) in 2014, Jeff became an Associate Chaplain, serving at both the Muskegon County Jail and Newaygo County Jail. The stories of the many men he impacted while serving in the jails, still bring me to tears.

I have continued on in his absence, and currently serve as an Associate Chaplain at the Muskegon County Jail. I have the privilege of teaching a weekly, Life Recovery class for the ladies. Every week, those who are struggling with the bondage of addiction, come to class to learn a new way to live.

Anyone can sign up for the Life Recovery class, and when they attend their initial class, they begin the process of earning their supplies. Every week, I bring Life Recovery Bibles, Workbooks and journals for the ladies to use. When they attend their 3rd consecutive class, they receive the Bible and Workbook to keep.

They bring their supplies to class weekly, use them to study and learn during the week, and when they are released, they get to take them home.

As you can imagine, these resources are not FREE! When the class was started, we had a supply of all of these materials, that over the years, has been depleted. As you can imagine, jail ministry budgets have to stretch incredibly far, and these specialized resources are just not in the budget.

This is where YOU come in! I'm hosting this fundraiser, in memory of Jeff, on this, the 10th

Anniversary of his passing. Over the month of February 2026, it is my hope to raise $1,000 to go toward the purchase of Life Recovery Bibles, workbooks and journals, so that we have an ongoing supply of these much needed resources.
