Hello, I'm Seth. I'm 65 and I live alone in Watertown Mass.

It has been an increasingly bad year for me. In April I was hospitalized for a deep tissue infection that seriously weakened me for several months. I receive Social security, and I have a part-time job that I missed many days of because of my illness. I have suffered personal losses that have affected my coping abilities. This month I was told that my rent was increasing by $450, and now a couple of weeks later, I have heard that the Social Security Administration is saying that they overpaid me by $2,791 and wants me to pay it back. This could be the straw that breaks my back. If I don't get over this hump, I may well end up on the street.

I could use some help from my friends.
