Life of prayer in the monastery

A priest friend of ours, Father Ben, has seen that the Lord has called him to a life of silence, prayer, poverty, and penance as a Monk. This vocation is one of the most humble and beautiful ways of life one can desire to serve God alone and to pray and give one's life for the salvation of his soul and that of many. 

To move on to this new way of life, after many years serving the greater DC area, he needs to settle all his financial accounts and sell any possessions he has. I am asking for donations to help him achieve this and transition into this beautiful way of life of poverty, simplicity, and prayer. All remaining money will be given to charity. Masses will be offered for all those who contribute and their families, and continual prayers will be assured.
