Letitia - "the Diva", "Elle", "L" - Teresa Wallace lived an amazing life, and will be remembered for her radiant faith, her light, and her willingness to help anyone in need. Her life was truly lived for others and the service of her Lord! Letitia was a one of a kind individual, she could have you laughing, crying, or smiling all in the same conversation. Her legacy continues in all of us, and we hope to honor her through our words, actions, and deeds.

As her legacy lives on, Jameisha and Jamarko invite you to celebrate Letitia in any way that you can. From expressing the impact she has had on your life, sending condolences to the family, through giving here, and anything in between your support will not go unnoticed.

Letitia loved her family, her friends, and her community, and was constantly making everyone feel welcomed. Hospitality was a part of her nature, as much as her smile and laughter. She was passionate enough to dedicate her last years to helping others as a CNA and caretaker. From countless trips with her nieces, nephews, friends and family, you were always along for a quality ride if you got extended time with Letitia in a car. We all dearly miss her warm smile and know she is resting and at peace.

As the family continues to process Letitia's sudden passing, we have decided to honor her in a few major ways. Below we will share some of our goals in honoring her:

1. An Amazing Celebration of Life- Due of Covid-19 we will not be doing a traditional service, but will make every effort to make sure we have virtual celebration for friends and family to pay their tribute and respects. We will follow CDC guidelines for a small intimate family service if we are able, and will continue to share information as it becomes available to us.

2. Friends and family are welcome to send cards, condolences to the family in honor of Letitia. We will work on creating a virtual tribute that we will share with you all once we complete it!

3. Creating a Letitia Wallace Legacy Scholarship and/or donating to an organization for on behalf of Letitia. With any additional proceeds from this campaign we will honor Letitia Wallace by granting a scholarship to create opportunities for Black Students to attend colleges, universities, or continuing education.

This campaign will use finances in this order to:

1) Pay for funeral related expenses (Mortuary, burial, transport, recording, etc., document retrieval)

2) Event planning, family travel, Covid-19 related costs (Testing, PPE, family transportation costs, hotel)

3) Service related fees and/or virtual streaming (Zoom, FB, Mortuary service if applicable)

4) Celebration of life decorations (Flowers, balloons, etc.)

5) Tribute related materials (Virtual tribute website platform, digital and print copies if applicable)

6) All additional proceeds will be used towards establishing the Letitia Wallace Scholarship.

7) If you have an interest in honoring Letitia by helping establish the scholarship fund through a larger gift/resource/asset please feel free to reach out to the family directly.

It is our goal to celebrate Letitia, the Diva, and cement her legacy and her place in history as she has already left an impact on all of our lives. If you wish to designate any gifts to her children, or grandchild please reach out to Jameisha or Jamarko directly, however, as the family grieves responses may be delayed. We love you and thank you for your support in these times.
