Life Insurance Denied: Help for Scott's Family

My name is Linda I'm asking for help for cremation of my uncle Scott Johnson for my family per my aunt and cousin to help them in time of need. Uncle Scott had throat cancer and after chemo and radition and being put on hopspice, he went peacefully in his sleep on 4-16-24. He had life insurance but they will not pay out due to the policy not being 2 years old. Funreal home will not take payments. His daughter Lindsay tried to get a loan and it was denied, she is a single mom and and after bills dosent have any extra, his wife my aunt Sheryl was married to him for 40 years. Scott thought he had a policy so family didn't have to worry. We have applied for the $250.00 from state, any help or prayers good thoughts anything will help. Again this is just so we can have Uncle Scott's final wish of cremation done and so he can be with his family. We are not having any services, per his wishes. My uncle wanted us to celebrate him at later date with family. When we all can get together as some live in Nebraska and some in Illinois.
