Hi.... I'm not giving up...this time my head is higher and my hand is still out.... this is still very difficult for me because I'm the type of girl that takes care of stuff without asking for help ......well, here I am asking for help.... last Sunday my husband Mike hurt himself badly, 7 broken vertebrae, both shoulders damaged and a concussion....I won't get into details of how it happened because some of it is still a mystery, we think his vertigo set the stage.

He was in the hospital for a week, most of that time he was not breathing on his own. He is now home wearing a brace, using a walker and sleeping in a hospital type bed..... I've not been able to work my usual full time due to caring for him and a couple senior pets.... and it's wearing on me . It's going to take time for healing and we are starting to liquidate our finances....I work for a wonderful company that is giving me the time I need but I still have to work, it's important to me.

We appreciate any help... no matter.

Currently my strong girl pride is in a box with the lid closed.

Mike is slowly getting better but it's a slow ride.

I believe he'll be in a better healing space (especially his BP) if he doesn't have to worry so much about finances.
