Hi comrades,

This fund is for rent, and general living expenses for a 2 Spirit trans Indigenous crown ward and jail / homelessness survivor. COVID-19 has brought hard times for all of us, and even more so for those without safety nets. Colonization and intergenerational trauma makes it extremely hard to provide generational wealth, and often time traps Indigenous people in vicious cycles of poverty. This fund will be used towards rent, food, and access to traditional items needed by this individual to not only survive but thrive. Indigenous youth shouldn't have to choose between food, love or shelter on a land that is theres to begin with.
