Life for Amber, Life for a Mom

“Amber”
                The name of the most amazing woman In the world I know, my fiancé.

“Mom”
               The name I hear our three children call out everyday, the name they look to for comfort and love.

Amber Ryan is a Fiancé, a Mother, a Step-Mother, a friend and is one of the Strongest human beings you would ever meet. She is fighting for  her life right now and needs your help!

Unfortunately, after New Years we were told after a long two year battle with cancer it was no longer a fighting chance. She has been diagnosed with Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer after 

Chemotherapy which has now spread to her lung and is inoperable. She has been given 2-3 years of precious life left and that’s just not acceptable.

 I myself had just lost my father last year and she has just lost her Grandmother over Christmas. Bad news has been hitting us from every angle and it’s just not fair. Life isn’t fair and we all know this very much so, but this is beyond what anyone can handle for bad news in a lifetime. 

It is with my saddest and most desperate state  I come to all of you for help; help for my fiancé and help for a mother. We’re not taking the news in defeat, we’re not going to stop fighting and we’re going to make sure three children at home see their mother and step-mother at every event in their lives growing up.

We have been introduced to a drug called Lynparza that is not covered by benefits or healthcare. It can greatly slow the effects of the cancer and improve Amber’s chances of survival, or at least vastly increase her life here on Earth.

Unfortunately this drug is extremely expensive and we’re nowhere able to afford it. This is where you guys come in!!

Were asking for $100,000 and I know that sounds like an incredible amount and it is, but the drug itself is $80, 000 a year.  She will also need to take it for two years. We’re also looking at getting her into Princess Margaret Cancer Institute in Toronto which in itself will be a massive burden and hurdle to overcome financially.

At the end of the day we can only do what we can for Amber. I would give my life for hers, I would take all the pain away if I could for her; but I can’t. So instead I’m asking for your help to get Amber the treatment she so desperately needs.
