Life Expenses Honoring Rhonda Parr

Donation protected
My mother has always injured herself in funny and unusual ways, that's what made her Rhonda. Unfortunately, the older you get, the less funny the recovery gets. For instance, last fall, she didn't just break her leg, she broke her leg getting plowed down by a couple of 7 year old football players.  Sadly, the last accident took her life, 3 weeks ago, after a wonderful day of family fellowship, she tripped, hit her head on the pavement and was instantly carried home by God. Wonderful for her!, but left the rest of us to mourn the loss of a sweet & amazing wife, mother, sister and friend.

The incident and recovery last fall coupled with the final expenses of her death have left my father financially treading water.  In the wake of mourning the loss of his bride for 45 years, the reality of his financial situation is setting in and causing uneeded stress in an already stressful time.

So many people have asked "is there anything I can do", "how can I help"...well, this would be it. I'm humbly asking for donations to help cover her final medical expenses/life expenses and get my dad's back out from against the wall so he can greive properly instead of wathching everything crumble around him.

His famous quote from this tragedy is "I'll never get over it, but I Will get through it with the grace of God" and for those of you that know him, you know he's always got something clever or inspiring to say. He will get through this, he just needs time to decide what direction his life will now go without his partner and teammate.

I've put up a random financial goal (well, not that random, they were married in January of '75), if the funds are less, wonderful, if the funds are more, incredible. Non the less, 10% or more of the funds will be donated to the Little Hope Family Life Center in Canton, Tx in my mothers name. As a family, we always give a portion of what we recieve back to God in hopes of blessing others the way we have been blessed for so long. And in conjuction with financial donations, prayers are always welcome!

My parents have done so much for me, loved on me, prayed for me, provided for me, as parents do...And to quote one of my favorite songs "Now it's my turn to keep the wolves away"....
