Life Costs During Family Emergency

Hello. My name is Molecula, and I am fundraising for a close family member who is choosing to remain anonymous. A different family member has been in and out of the hospital over the last month, which means the one caring for them has had to take extended time off work. It is important for us to maintain discretion, otherwise, I would share more details, but please know the situation is serious, and we are all struggling. The family very much appreciates your positive thoughts and prayers, but all our focus needs to remain on the one who is hospitalized. For a while, her FMLA and short-term leave coverage provided the finances for everyday costs like rent, food, utility bills, etc. However, those benefits are running out. While FMLA protects people from losing their jobs during family emergencies, it does not always provide adequate financial compensation. My family member who is caring for the person in the hospital only has 40 more hours where she will be paid 75% of her regular wage, so we have decided to turn to you for help.

My family member will have to stay on a temporary leave of absence using FMLA for the next few weeks due to the care she provides for our other family member. With her money dwindling from the cost of bills and care, we are turning to our community for assistance. Any amount of donation would be greatly appreciated.
