Life changing surgery for my 17 year old son

Hi my name is Joanne Hutton, a desperate mother reaching out to raise money for life changing surgery for my 17 year old son. He has a very very severe pectus carinatum (pigeon chest)

This causes his chest bone to protrude very profoundly causing a severe deformity of his chest.

Sadly the surgery he requires is no longer funded by NHS England! I have purchased very expensive braces in the past but even the surgeon says it is too severe for that to work.

My son is now at a point in his life where he is isolating himself from everyone and everything. My son is a beautiful soul who would do anything for anyone and wouldn't hurt a fly, the last few years watching the happiness and lust for life draining from his eyes has been devastating to watch. He is very depressed and has no quality of life.

The surgery has been quoted at roughly £20 thousand pounds.

This surgery would give him the confidence to live a normal life.

Any money raised would go towards the surgery and after care for my son.
