Life Changing Surgery for little Phoenix

Our 2-year-old son is in urgent need of a tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and bilateral grommets. Unfortunately, the waiting list for a public consultation is over three years long, and he can’t afford to wait that long. His tonsils and adenoids are severely enlarged, and they’re pressing against his uvula, causing obstructive sleep apnea. Each night, his oxygen levels drop dangerously low, and he experiences terrifying pauses in his breathing. We watch him wake up in fear, struggling for air, and it breaks our hearts every time.

The lack of restful sleep is also taking a toll on his development. His enlarged adenoids are affecting his ability to hear properly, leaving him in a world of muffled sounds. He’s already showing signs of moderate hearing loss, and if this continues, we fear he could face significant delays in speech and language development.

The cost of this life-changing surgery is $7,257, and we’re reaching out for help as we simply don’t have the resources to afford it. With 1 parent on maternity leave, caring for our 4-month-old daughter, who is also facing her own health challenges. She’s awaiting a cranial MRI due to concerns.
