Hi everyone, I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend and her family. In November 2023, my best friend was the victim of a brutal and completely unprovoked attack by a man in his 30s and his partner. At the time, she was only 18 years old.

The assault left her with life-changing injuries, including having her two front teeth knocked out. Following the attack, she was forced to live on a liquid diet for five months & now is forced to wear a denture while trying to recover both physically and emotionally. The trauma from that night has also left her struggling with severe PTSD & anxiety affecting her in all aspects of life.

We are raising funds to help cover the cost of the extensive dental treatment she now needs to rebuild her smile and regain some normality in her life. The estimated cost for replacing just her two front teeth is around £9,000 which is an overwhelming expense for a now 21 year old girl .

After years of holding back from doing this out of anxiety and being too scared I have decided to make a go fund me to try raise as much as possible towards getting my teeth fixed after I was a victim of a brutal unprovoked attack in November of 2023 at the age 18, I keep the details of the extent of my injuries to myself and close family due to being so embarrassed of being in the situation I was and still are in so please take a minutes of your day to read my story

Early hours of the 5th November 2023 I was spending a night out with my friends in Halifax town after being out we decided to go get some food and get a taxi home as we normally would as I went to get into my taxi a fight broke out between myself and a woman in her 30’s this was soon stopped and I took myself back to my taxi when she then attacked me from behind soon after this her partner a male in his 30’s continued to punch me multiple times which ended with me being completely unconscious with extensive injuries and my two front teeth being knocked out from the impact of a punch and they continued to attack me even after I was already unconscious,I was taken to Halifax hospital where they tried to treat my injuries and I was soon taken to Bradford hospital where they tried there best to fix my teeth, they then broke the news to me that my teeth were dead and there wasn’t anything more they could do I was absolutely distraught even having to think about it, I refused to leave my house or socialise and was soon given the only option left for me which was a replacement denture until I could get the funds to get implants the cost for them is £9000 which as an 18 year old girl who had to quit her job wasn’t financially possibly,I was put on a liquid diet for 5 months in which I lost an excessive amount of weight I was unable to talk due to swelling and stitches, unable to walk or bathe myself properly since this I have had to go to more dentist appointments than any regular person it completely stripped me as a person I not only lost my teeth and smile I lost my confidence completely and have never been the same since I am now 21 and have waited 3 years for this to go to court I believed this would have been resolved for my own peace of mind but it wasn’t which is why myself and family have decided to create this go fund me
