On the morning of October 3rd, Kyleigh’s life was turned upside down when she was involved in a devastating car accident caused by teenage drivers. The crash was so severe that emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to pull her from the wreckage. Her driver’s side door was pushed in nearly eight inches—any further, and she might not have survived.

Miraculously, she is still with us, but the impact left her with serious injuries. She suffered multiple breaks in both hips, her pelvic bone, and her lower spine. Doctors have explained that she will need several surgeries to place plates and screws throughout her pelvis in order to stabilize her bones and begin the long road toward healing.

This is not just a temporary setback—it’s something that will affect Kyleigh for the rest of her life. Recovery will require months of hospital stays, rehabilitation, and physical therapy. The pain and limitations from these injuries will change how she moves, works, and lives day-to-day.
