Life Changed in an Instant for the Haag Family

Hi, I'm Mary Brown and I am raising funds for my niece and her family. On the evening of July 7th, life changed dramatically for Steve, Amy, and Ryan Haag. Steve, who suffers from MS, fell getting out of his chair, sustaining a compression injury to his neck. This caused paralysis from the chest down and resulted in emergency surgery with fusion. Steve has been working incredibly hard in his rehab, and is making slow but definite progress. Much is uncertain about the future, but one thing that IS certain is that the family will have considerable expenses for things like a custom-made wheelchair (Steve’s nickname is the Big Guy), a wheelchair accessible van, home renovations, potential in-home nursing equipment and care, and the list goes on. They definitely need an emergency fund that they can access easily and quickly when needed. This is a strong and loving family in a really tough spot.
