Hello loved ones. As many of you know, I’m going through one of the toughest times of my life currently. The abruptness of my separation with my husband has left me in a position of chaos. I’m doing my very best to stay on my feet, keep my head up, and keep fighting to solve my problems. It’s not easy for me to ask for help, but here I am.

I’m in the process of securing an apartment that I can afford, while looking for someone to take over my current lease so that I’m not breaking lease and accruing a debt of $12,000 for a lease break. San Francisco is a very expensive rental market, and one might ask why I don’t move out of the city. San Francisco is where my soul flourishes, and both my physical and mental health are better in the long.

I have lost my health insurance as I was covered through my husband’s policy. That coverage ends on December 31st. As you all know, my health is one of my biggest challenges….a lapse in healthcare coverage can be detrimental to me in so many ways. I need to secure coverage through the Affordable Care Act (Covered California) as soon as I possibly can.

Many of you know my struggles with mental health and history of drug abuse. I want to assure each and every one of you not to worry about me making bad decisions right now. Though this is one of the most difficult transitions of my life thus far, I am guided by God’s love through all of the people who are placed in my life. I would do nothing to myself that would jeopardize my life. I am being guided to actively ask for financial help to restructure my living arrangement, and for basic immediate needs. Once this I get through this uncertain time I am confident that I will manage my life just fine. I’m very fortunate to be getting connected into the music community here in San Francisco, and the gigs continue to roll in more and more, and soon will be overflowing….I want to play and share all the music all the time, for as long as I am called to do so.

If you are in a position to help me financially through this crisis, I can’t thank you enough for your support…..and if you’d like to be able to but are not in a position to do so, I understand….I wouldn’t be able to help me right now! Above all, what I ask for is continued love, thoughts, prayers and belief in me as I continue to keep fighting for myself to overcome my feelings of unworthiness and self-doubt.
