In an instant your life can change!

Troy Kozub is a hard- working, family loving, center of the universe kinda guy to so many. He is the first one to give up his time to help others; if something is broken, he can probably fix it, if someone needs a hand, he’s gonna give it, if something needs done, he’s gonna do it!
On Friday May 19, Troy was severely hurt in an equipment accident (on his own time) at the church where the preschool that his wife Kayleen teaches at. Kayleen and his 2yr old son Cameron were with him when it happened. They witnessed this tragedy as it happened and as heart-wrenching as that is, they were able to get paramedics to him quickly.
Both his legs were badly injured in the accident. Recovering will be a process and he will not be able to return to work for months. They rely on his income to cover the monthly expenses and now on top of that medical expenses. His first concern as he was in excruciating pain was how he’s going to provide for his family if he couldn’t work.
I am hoping that we can minister to this family and lift them up in their time of need and show them how much value they bring to our lives!
There are plenty of ways to help whether it is a donation, simple kind words, or powerful prayers can help this family know how much they mean to so many!

UPDATE:
Sorry for not updating this more, but it has been a journey with many ups and downs. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months waiting, watching, hoping for strength, and healing to take place. We all watched him persevere through some of life’s toughest challenges with the utmost certainty that this would be over “in a couple of months”.
Unfortunately, we found out that the bone in his leg is not healing and showing any new regrowth. The apparatus that was used originally must be undone and reconfigured in order for him to move forward in his journey. He will return to surgery this week to have the rod stabilizing his leg together and anchored in his hip removed and new hardware installed reconfigured differently and a bone graph to hopeful encourage regrowth and stability to that leg.
We have updated the goal as this has gone on much longer than we could have ever expected and want to help reduce his stress some and keep this family going while he goes through this challenging period of rehabilitation for the second time with the hopes that this will be the last.
Thank you to all those who have joined Troy’s Tribe as we could not have made it this far without you! Continue keeping this family in your thoughts and prayers!
